The team were on track at what is regarded as the first BriSCA F1 meet of the season looking to build upon the progress made at BelleVue Manchester on 1 April.
With a new winch fitted to the transporter the team loaded up a car that had everything except the flywheel, this was definitely going to be one of the biggest challenges of the day.
Some good lap time was had with 2 strong heat races however the lack of a flywheel meant that keeping the car going was proving difficult. We did however manage to shave 0.5 seconds off our lap times.
In the Consolation Race, despite finishing 15th out of 25 cars out on track, it was deemed to be a good race given the problems that we had been up against.
